Since I first stepped foot in Scarlet's Bakery, I have been dreaming of doing a little shoot there so when my friend Allison was in town from Chicago, it was perfect timing! Not only is the bakery a bright and airy space but they also have incredible treats and cappuccinos.
My FAVORITE thing about Scarlet's is their mission. They bring new employment opportunities to women formerly exploited or trafficked in our community and 100% of their profit goes back to help employ these women! They strive to employ, equip and empower women as they transition toward a new career from backgrounds of abuse and exploitation. Pretty amazing if you ask me! (Read their full story here.)
